Leaving the town built on top of the hill and crossing through a somewhat industrialised valley, one reaches Poggio ai Grilli. The domain of more than 20 hectares includes an old, magnificently preserved granary, a farmhouse dating back to 1200, which has been converted into guest appartments, as well as the more recent house containing the lodgings of the Borghi family. The vines and abundant flowers offer a beautiful palette of colours to the eye. The inside of the appartments is simply decorated throughout, but with an intelligent use of the available space.
